Ashley & Peter | Castle Hill Inn Wedding | Newport Wedding Photographer

I have been dying to share this beautiful Newport wedding at Castle Hill Inn with you, but had to keep it under wraps since it was recently featured on Style Me Pretty!  A very special thank you to Lauren Methia Photography for having me along.  This was definitely an affair to remember.   Not a single detail was overlooked, and I started in the bridal suite with Ashley and her beautiful bridesmaids.  I loved the robes, it made it much easier to remember names, and everyone just looked too cute in them!

Ashley’s dress was stunning, and she was just beaming all day.

I parted with the girls for a bit to visit with the guys while they took care of their finishing touches. Ashley’s dad saved the day with his sewing skills when there was a slight button mishap on Peter’s shirt!

With everyone ready to go, it was time to head to the lawn for the ceremony.  Ashley and Peter thought of everything to make sure their guests were comfortable during this warm July day, from paper fans, to iced tea and lemonade!  

I love this shot of Ashley.  Her face just lit up when she saw Peter waiting for her at the front of the aisle.

The day wasn’t just about Ashley and Peter.  At every opportunity, Peter’s daughter, Hadley was included in the ceremony, to make it official that the three of them were a family (they were clearly a family before, but I loved seeing Hadley excited to be a part of everything).Married!

Ashley’s dad surprised the happy couple with a banner plane during cocktail hour.  Just too sweet!

All of the nautical details were to die for.  Everything was just perfect for this fairytale celebration. 

This was one of the most upbeat first dances I have seen to date.  My cheeks hurt from smiling so much writing about it!

The surprises never ended with this wedding!  The last thing Ashley’s dad had up his sleeve was fireworks over the water.  It doesn’t get much more amazing than that!  Ashley and Peter had no idea, they were bamboozled into thinking we were doing a nighttime group portrait of everyone at the wedding.

Congratulations to you, Ashley and Peter, I know that you and Hadley have a lifetime of fairytales ahead of you!
