Winter is definitely here in New England, with plenty of snow to last me a few seasons! Tara and Jeff had a great winter wedding on New Year’s eve, and I spent the day shooting with Lauren Tomasella Photography, while we ventured around New Bedford and Dartmouth. My afternoon started with Jeff and his groomsmen, while they put on their finishing touches at Jeff’s mom’s house.
Once everyone was ready (and a few stragglers were found!), we started our trip to the New Bedford Whaling Museum for Tara & Jeff’s first look and group portraits. This place was so neat! Tara waited patiently at the top of the stairs for Jeff to get himself situated for their first look.
The New Bedford Whaling Museum has a full whale ship inside, so there was no better place to shoot. The bridal party all looked smashing.
Cutest little ring bearer and flower girl you ever did see!
Tara’s bridesmaids really stuck it out and climbed right through snow banks to get back to the limo. Well done ladies!
I love this look I caught Tara sneaking to Jeff during the ceremony. So happy!
Married!
I so enjoyed all of the snowflake details included throughout the reception at the Hawthorne Country Club in Dartmouth, MA. It was even more perfect that there was actually snow on the ground!
It’s so great when the bridal party has fun with introductions, and team Tara & Jeff did not disappoint.
Tara could not get more bubbly, her laugh is infectious!
Jeff’s parents commanded the dance floor, so much so that they cleared it so everyone could watch them!
Congratulations, Tara and Jeff!
