Last Saturday was pretty much perfect, between the weather, scoring last minute Red Sox tickets, and most importantly, photographing Tracy & Eddy’s engagement session while they were up visiting from NYC!
I met Tracy and Eddy through one of my old co-workers from my past office life (hi Viv!), and immediately hit it off with them. A quiet (but still silly and fun) couple, Tracy talked about how they just wanted to have a celebration with their families, without a huge hoopla, but an understated and elegant affair at Venezia in Boston. I didn’t tell them at the time, but when I left our initial meeting, I told my hubs that if they didn’t book, I’d be walking around like one of those sad Charlie Brown walk moments from Arrested Development. Lucky for all of us, I will be joining Tracy, Eddy, and their families this fall at their wedding, and let me tell you, after their engagement session, I am even more excited for it! We met just before sunset on the grounds of Wellesley college since the weather wasn’t looking great a few days prior, and Mother Nature could not have treated us any better. While spring hasn’t really come out in full force quite yet, we were able to spend a breathtakingly warm and lovely evening in the Hunnewell Arboretum. For a couple that is self proclaimed as not very good at being the subjects of a photograph, I’d say that they hit their stride and rocked this session out!
I love when we get into a session and personalities (and goofiness) just start bursting from the seams! Eddy makes Tracy smile, always. And sometimes, he bites her cheek.
Tracy & Eddy, thank you for an absolutely wonderful afternoon! I can’t wait for your wedding in September! It will be here before you know it!
