Earlier this week I was lucky enough to meet up with Erica & Rob while they were in MA on a beautifully windy day at Wollaston beach, where they got engaged this February! I was so excited to finally meet them in person, since Erica lives in Texas, we only got to chat over the phone, but immediately hit it off and had a lovely time chatting. These two have an incredible story. Rob, being a nurse, and Erica, being a doctor, you would think, naturally, they met at work. You’d be only a little bit right. These two incredible souls donated their time and their care back in 2010 after the Haiti earthquake, and a southern girl and Quincy boy got to know each other while pouring their hearts into caring for others in need. The two had a long distance relationship for three years, and in the past few months, after Rob had popped the question on Wollaston beach on a very chilly winter day, he has moved down to Houston to finally live with his bride to be! When I arrived at Wollaston beach, the clouds were building a perfect pathway to the Boston skyline, and I knew I was in for a treat. I was very right. Erica and Rob are so kind and caring for each other, and despite the wind, I had the warm fuzzies the whole shoot. That’s enough chatter from me, on to their session!
About halfway through our session, we heard someone yell, “Oh, I see them! They’re right there!” It was the most adorably excited Mrs. Nettles, a family friend who had just happened to be chatting on the phone with Rob’s mom while on her evening walk!
Erica & Rob, thank you for a wonderful evening on the beach! I can’t wait to see you again this summer!
