Siobhan & Matt’s wedding day was filled with sunshine, laughter, and more Irish brogues than I could have asked for! I arrived at Siobhan’s home where the girls prepped for the day, and from the start, I knew that the day would be all about spending a huge celebration with family and friends from all over the world. With a photo of her grandmother watching over her as she put on her dress, and her sister and closest friend (who look so alike!) by her side, Siobhan could not stop looking outside with a huge smile on her face. My colleague Jenn Alton joined me to photograph Matt and his brothers before the ceremony, and to be an overall awesome second photographer for the day.
Siobhan’s dad lit up when he saw his daughter in her gown for the first time. I love first looks with dads!
While Siobhan & Matt chose not to see each other before their ceremony, Matt had to come by the house to pick up the flowers for the guys, and we decided that while he was there, it was the perfect time for the two to read the letter that each had written for the other.
Matt wanted to make sure to start their celebration with a bang, so naturally, we stopped by a cannon to shoot there (get it?)…
Not only did Siobhan & Matt have a choreographed first dance, but she and her dad passed around the floor like it was their own personal cloud nine.
