As 2014 draws to a close (stay tuned for some of my favorite moments of the year coming up in early January), I’m so excited to share the wedding of Tiff & Chris, my last wedding from the year. These two really wrapped up the season in a showstopping romantic day at the always stunning Willowdale Estate. Tiff & Chris know how to throw a wonderful celebration, filled with timeless and romantic details, and jam packed with fun and a little bit of silliness on top. I was joined by my always wonderful colleague Elaine Donohue for the day, who was a perfect addition the day. None of the rain and chilly weather bothered this pair, and as soon as they locked eyes on each other before their ceremony, neither had a care in the world.
Tiff, the only word for you is stunning, or regal… or gorgeous. Okay, so maybe there’s more than one word!
Chris was looking quite smashing himself, as he patiently awaited Tiff’s arrival…
After our portraits with Tiff & Chris, we were joined by the bridal party, who all look like they’re straight out of a magazine.
We also had some time for some nice and relaxed family portraits. I love the in-between portraits showing how close these families are.
With all of our formal photos out of the way, it left time to be able to allow everyone to enjoy cocktail hour and spending time together. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves, it was time for a dusk ceremony inside the mansion. Willowdale always is so warm and inviting around the holidays…
Chris and Tiff opted for a traditional Celtic hand tying ceremony rather than lighting a unity candle.
Married, high five!
It was time for the celebration to begin!
I love the elegant details that fit in beautifully wiht the mansion, especially the cranberry touches!
These were some awesome toasts – Chris & Tiff had their seats in the middle of the room, so they weren’t tucked up against a wall, away from all of their guests – the perfect place to be during toasts!
Officially time to party!
As the guests danced into the wee hours of the night, Elaine & I said our goodbyes. Thank you guys for allowing us to document a beautiful day!
