Kara & Brian: Engaged! | A Back Bay Engagement Session

It may be 2015, but things aren’t slowing down over here!  Within the last three days of 2014 and the first three of 2015, I spent my time shooting two engagement sessions and a wedding, and I’m so happy to start sharing them with you!  First up, is Kara & Brian, who were my very last session of 2014.  I was so excited when Kara & Brian first reached out about photographing their Scituate Harbor Yacht Club wedding this coming May, because I went to high school with Kara, and she is quite possibly one of the most adorably sweet and witty ladies I know, and Brian is definitely her perfect fit.  Josh and I had a wonderful time around Newbury Street and Back Bay, trying desperately to distract these two from how cold it was (though they didn’t complain once about the 23 degree high for the day!).  You guys, we can’t wait for your wedding this year!  Thanks for rounding out 2014 with such an awesome session!

I love the way that Kara wrinkles her nose by default, every single time Brian looks at her or kisses her forehead.

Okay, but seriously, how awesome are these two outfits for a winter session?  So completely comfortable and awesome, and so completely them.

The best part about a winter session in the city is that you can take advantage of all the lights on the Commonwealth mall that stay on through the beginning of spring!
