I’m so glad to finally get back to blogging consistently, with 4 engagement shoots hitting the blog this week! First up this week is a wonderful session we had with Nora & Rick. We first met them at Kate & Mike’s wedding last year, when Rick was one of their super fun groomsmen. When Nora reached out to let us know she and Rick were engaged, and wanted us to join them to document their wedding day, we were beside ourselves with excitement, because we just love these two to pieces. We decided head into Cambridge and Harvard Square for their engagement session, where their engagement began. It’s so great when we visit somewhere that means something to our couples for their engagement sessions!
We got together for a drink at Tory Row, and meandered through the streets of Cambridge to the spot where Rick asked Nora to be his bride. Luckily for us, the courtyard wasn’t filled with students playing ultimate frisbee like it was about 20 minutes before Rick had planned to propose. (Don’t worry, the surprise proposal gods were looking down on Rick, because when he returned with Nora it was like the students had vanished into thin air, and the courtyard was all theirs.)
Nora and Rick are so adorably sweet. It felt like we were spending an afternoon with the all American couple-next-door, where you can’t help but feel happier around them, so much so that Josh and I kept smiling and saying all we needed to do was shut up and shoot, because these guys have the “just enjoy being together” part covered. Here are some of our favorites from their session!
Nora & Rick, thank you so much for a wonderfully genuine evening with the two of you! Your October wedding is going to just be amazing, and we can’t wait!
