Allison & Keith: Engaged! | A Quintessential Boston Engagement Session

Nothing makes us happier than photographing the friends and family of our past couples (other than maybe photographing our couples again and again, but this allows us to do just that!).  Allison found us through Heather and MacLean (check out their wedding for our only non Jewish wedding to date that had a Horah!) – Allison’s brother is married to Heather’s sister, and we’re so happy to be reunited with this amazing family again, along with adding Keith and his family into the mix!  These two totally get each other, and did not stop laughing the entire time (particularly at how much we joked that Keith seemed to love making out with Allison in public!).  Their absolutely adorable pup, Kip, joined us for the first half of the session, and we walked from their apartment over to Paul Revere Park,  where they spend their limited family time together.  They both have an insane work ethic (Allison is a resident at Mass General and Keith works in technology and is getting a second degree at Harvard), so needless to say, any time they spend together is pretty awesome.

Apparently with these guys, the “family hug” is a thing.  Kip got a little overzealous with his PDA.

There goes the Kipster again – making sure he’s not left out!

All joking aside, how awesome are these two?

After taking Kip home to relax for the evening, we headed to the Esplanade where Keith popped the question.  The sun drenched the charles river shores with crazy beautiful light, and we took full advantage (along with taking a quick break to wait for the sun to go down a little more and check on Kip via puppycam!).

I love the way Allison looks at Keith!  (He does the same for her.)

  • Love each and everyone of these photographs! I've known Allison since she was a little girl and although she has changed immensely you have captured her personality so well. We've only met Keith briefly but I am sure his friends would say the same. Love that you included "Man's (and woman's) best friend too!
