Your Monday is about to get a whole lot more beautiful, friends. I could go on and on about all of the beautiful details about this wedding – how amazing Sara’s dress was, the stunning ceremony garden and barn at Plimoth Plantation, the adorable favors, and lovely flowers on every table, the awesome weather we had, or the fiery sunset, and you will see all of those things here, but this wedding challenged me, changed me personally in ways I couldn’t have imagined.
Sara & Jeff are nothing short of incredible. These two high school sweethearts who met because Jeff showed up to the wrong classroom for a study period tied the knot in the most beautiful way, completely celebrating their friends and family. This couple has gone through both amazingly beautiful and extremely difficult times together. Just one week before their wedding, this family had to say goodbye to someone extremely important to their lives, Jeff’s dad. Sara and Jeff, joined together in love, held their families up to truly celebrate all of them becoming one collective family. It was amazing to watch the quiet looks throughout the day acknowledging each other’s strength, and the smiles with the knowledge that every guest was living this day to the absolute fullest. I cannot begin to describe how much we love this couple, their family, and their friends. It is people like these two that give us a fire in our belly to love more, care more, and do more for all of our couples. To Sara, Jeff, and all of your friends and family, we are truly better people for knowing you.
Sara surprised her mom with her own tear filled mother-daughter dance, along with dancing with her brother.
As we said our goodbyes, we snuck Sara and Jeff outside for a few moments alone to let the day sink in. This was Sara’s reaction to realizing they were 100% married.
We could not adore these two any more.
