Erica & David: Married! | An Endicott Estate Wedding

I can’t believe 2016 is coming to a close next week – before the new year, you’re definitely going to be seeing the rest of our weddings from this year!  What a wonderful day we had with Erica & David back in October for their wedding that happened on their dating anniversary :)  These two love to laugh together, and had such an incredibly laid back and fun Monday afternoon wedding.  Having met as kids, and later became roommates when they both were living in LA, it turns out that the two fell for each other, moving back to the Bay state together, and are pretty much the perfect fit for each other.  Erica has the most bubbly personality, and David’s even keeled nature keeps her perfectly balanced, and vice versa.  But enough about me, it’s time to enjoy this Beatles loving pair’s wedding!

I absolutely adore the stained glass windows in the church where David grew up before his family moved to California where he and Erica met!

Just after their vows, the sun created the most beautiful spotlight on Erica.  She was literally glowing after becoming David’s wife!

Erica surprised David with the Beatles groom’s cake, and he was filled with emotion over how much he loves her.  This is quite possibly my favorite image of the day, of Erica immediately taking care of her new husband, and wiping away his tears of joy.

Christen & Alex: Engaged! | A Davis Square Engagement Session

Happy F-F-F-Friday everyone!  Sorry, that was just my teeth chattering.  It’s freaking freezing out, so before I put on my 367 layers to head outside, I’m going to leave this here for you – it will certainly warm your heart!  I first met Christen & Alex when they were guests at Stephanie & Dan’s wedding, where Christen fell in love with the venue.  I’m happy to say I’ll be returning back to White Cliffs Country Club in 2017 for a reunion with this group of awesome friends, this time for Christen & Alex to tie the knot!  We had such a blast hanging out with these guys in their neighborhood in Somerville, during the hustle and bustle of rush hour.  Alex and Christen couldn’t stop laughing with each other, and we wandered Davis Square, complete with a stop at their favorite date spot!

Rebecca & Eric: Married! | An Endicott Estate Wedding

We first met Rebecca and Eric by chance when we arrived to photograph Dana & Alec’s wedding at Endicott Estate, and Rebecca and Eric were taking a tour of their future wedding venue.  Rebecca’s mom asked me for a card when we let them peek inside the bridal suite, and I’m so glad that our serendipitous meeting evolved into us being allowed to photograph their stunning wedding this year!  Take Rebecca’s sweet and quiet presence, add Eric’s gentle and caring demeanor, and dash of a stunning sunset ceremony, and you’ve got a formula for a great day!

Rebecca & Eric opted for a first look to be able to have some time alone before the day got away from them.  Eric was literally breathless when he saw Rebecca.  We love when couples take the time for a first look, and genuinely take that time together to heart.  It always creates some of our favorite images from the day, and they’re always unposed!

Symantha & Marcus: Married! | An Eleanor Cabot Bradley Estate Wedding

I cannot believe how fast 2016 is coming to a close!  I still have so much to share with you – but the holidays are the best time to share joy and love, right?

Gosh I’ve been dying to share this wedding with you!  Symantha & Marcus met on the west coast, when Marcus was on a trip visiting mutual friends.  After getting to know Symantha, and knowing that he couldn’t be on the other side of the country, he packed up his life and moved to San Francisco to live closer to her, and from then on, the two have been inseparable (even sometimes lovingly known as Marmantha).  Having been able to get to know them over the past year, we can completely understand why!  Symantha has an absolutely infectious smile and laugh, and Marcus knows exactly how to bring it out in her.  We had so much fun documenting their wedding.  Everyone was so incredibly welcoming to us, and treated us like one of their own.  We are so honored that everyone allowed themselves to be completely open to emotion, allowing us to capture honest and true joy, celebrating a completely wonderful couple.

Symantha’s dress waited patiently for her at Bradley Estate.

Alisha & Joel: Married! | A Pierce House Wedding

Every time I think of Alisha and Joel, I can’t help but start singing “Everything is Awesome” from the Lego movie in my head.  Not only because they played that song as they left their ceremony as husband and wife, but because everything was truly awesome from start to finish.  Alisha and Joel are so incredibly laid back and relaxed, and despite a wasp hitching a ride right on Alisha’s wrist before the ceremony, the two didn’t stop smiling the whole day. From giggling through putting on her wedding dress, to Joel’s laughter at how far in the air his friends had them during (and after!) the Horah, it was truly a day full of celebrations.
