Kristen & Brooks: Married! | A Museum of Science Boston Wedding

Fall is upon us, and that means that we’re saying goodbye to beautiful summer weekends like the day Kristen & Brooks said I do at the Museum Of Science in Boston this year.  We absolutely adore this venue – not only is it an amazing space to wander with your guests and get some totally unique images throughout the museum, it provides one of the most unique views of Boston along the Charles river.  We started our day with Kristen and Brooks at the always incredible and newly renovated Liberty Hotel.  It was a beautiful and cool day for August, and we could not have had more fun with this lovely group!

Once the girls were en route to the ceremony, Kristen’s face absolutely lit up and she couldn’t stop smiling, even with tears streaming down her face as she walked towards Brooks at the top of the aisle.

Lindsey & Aaron: Married! | A Nashoba Valley Winery Wedding

On probably one of the most unexpectedly hot days of the year, we joined Lindsey and Aaron for their incredibly fun filled day at Nashoba Valley Winery.  The forecast called for clouds and rain all day, but Mother Nature decided she had only sunshine in store for this duo.  Both Lindsey and Aaron’s families and friends invited us in like one of their own, and faced the heat head on with smiles and laughter.

R + N: Married! | A Newburyport, MA Private Estate Wedding

Sometimes a couple meets with you, and not only says all the right things to warm your heart, but you know they mean it.  The first time we met R+N on our couch, they explained that they wanted their wedding day to be somewhere for their friends and family to have a ton of fun together, and to feel totally comfortable.  Now don’t get me wrong, lots of people say that same thing.  But R+N had a spark in their eye talking about R’s kids, showing us family pictures, and telling us all about their adventures together.  We were so excited to celebrate their wedding day, and even with the threat of thunderstorms all day, the rain held off until everyone was dancing the night away inside.  Rather than a traditional wedding venue, R+N opted to rent a beautiful estate for their closest family to stay, and opened it up to all of their guests for the weekend to celebrate the official start of this family!

Liz & Matt: Married! | An Inn at Mystic Wedding

We have come to learn recently that when we have a UConn couple, we can expect an amazingly beautiful wedding (we’re looking at you, Ali & Joe and Christina & Stephen!).  Liz and Matt were no exception to the rule.  We arrived down to the Inn At Mystic on a beautiful June Saturday, and immediately fell in love with the Inn at Mystic. We made our way up to the Hayley Mansion where Liz and her bridesmaids were prepping for the day, and the energy was awesome – everyone was so excited as hair and makeup was wrapping up, and the bridal suite is just stunning, looking over the river.  Not only that, but I now think all bridesmaids should come with their own bottle of confetti in a champagne popper (you’ll see why later).  From the look on Liz’s dad’s face when he saw her in her wedding gown for the first time, to UConn huskies cheers, to “union breaks” jokingly demanded by the groomsmen, a choreographed family dance to kick off the party, to a red carpet laid out for anyone brave enough to strut their stuff in the middle of the dance floor, we were smiling every moment of the day.  I could go on all day typing about everything that was awesome about this wedding, but instead let’s just show you, shall we?

We always encourage our couples to take a few minutes to themselves before anything happens after their ceremony.  We are always there to document it, but this time, we saw that they were headed straight for under the flag post, so we shot from about a football field away for this shot.

Lisa & Will: Married! | A Warren Conference Center Wedding

Oh my gosh, I don’t know that I have never been this excited to share two wonderful souls with you.  Lisa and Will have known each other since high school – their wedding day was a total celebration of a beautiful relationship that was so incredibly personal.  From the handmade jewelry designed by one of Lisa’s bridesmaids, to Will’s sister playing the harp as Lisa approached him down the aisle, to their Maid of Honor singing a beautiful wedding celebration song after they said their vows, all the way through to their 1965 Cadillac that was Will’s first antique car, and a reenactment of their entire relationship performed by Lisa’s parents, it was in incredible day.  Lisa and Will completely embody the meaning of kind, thoughtful, and genuine, and we are better people for knowing them.
